01Disconnect a social account
This is immediate. Velivoa stops being able to post to or read from that account the moment you confirm.
- Sign in to velivoa.com.
- Open Social Accounts from the menu.
- Select the delete icon next to the account and confirm Disconnect.
For YouTube, open Manage channel and click Disconnect. We ask Google to cancel our access, delete the access and refresh tokens, delete the short lived copy of your channel and videos, and delete the channel's comment threads from the Inbox.
Posts already published stay on the platform unless you delete them there.
For WhatsApp, open WhatsApp, then Numbers, and click Disconnect. We delete the access token, every chat of that number and the photos and files people sent, straight away. Your contact list stays until you delete contacts yourself from WhatsApp, then Contacts, which also deletes that person's chats and files. Messages already delivered stay on the phones of the people you wrote to.
02Remove Velivoa's access from the platform
You can also revoke access in each platform's own settings. Our access stops there even if you never open Velivoa again.
Facebook and Instagram
Facebook Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations. Find Velivoa and select Remove. Choosing to also delete activity sends us a deletion request.
Settings, then Data privacy, then Permitted services. Remove Velivoa.
Meta Business Suite, then Business settings, then Integrations, then Connected apps. Remove Velivoa, or delete the access token you gave us.
X
Settings, then Security and account access, then Apps and sessions, then Connected apps. Revoke Velivoa.
03YouTube and Google
- YouTube channel. Visit myaccount.google.com/permissions, select Velivoa and choose Remove access. Velivoa will show the channel as needing to be reconnected.
- Sign in with Google. Visit myaccount.google.com/connections and remove Velivoa. That does not, by itself, disconnect a YouTube channel you connected separately.
What we read from YouTube, and what is deleted when you disconnect, is described in the Privacy Policy.
04Delete your Velivoa account and data
Email support@velivoa.com with the subject Delete my Velivoa account from the email address you use to sign in. If you want only certain data deleted, for example data received from Facebook or from YouTube, say which.
We will confirm your request, then within 30 days:
- delete your account, profile, workspaces you own, posts, uploaded media, AI drafts and connected account tokens;
- remove you from workspaces owned by others;
- delete or anonymise related logs, except records we must keep by law (such as billing records);
- remove the data from backups within a further 90 days.
We will email you when deletion is complete. If you own a workspace with other members, we will ask whether to transfer it to another admin before deleting it.
05What stays behind
Videos and posts that are already on YouTube or another network stay there until you delete them on that network. After you disconnect, a channel or account name can remain on posts you already published through Velivoa, so your history still makes sense. Deleting those posts, or asking us to delete the account, removes that too.
Billing records we are required to keep for tax are retained or anonymised as the law requires. More detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Ask us to delete it
Email support@velivoa.com from your Velivoa address. Tell us whether you want the whole account gone, or only Google and YouTube data. We confirm the request and finish it within 30 days.
